Cafe Laavu | Levi, Finland

Cafe Levi has an incredible setting and a cafe experience like no other in the world. It is an experience that must not be missed if you are travelling through this part of the world. Unfortunately, they did not have affogatos on the menu (not surprising at all for Scandanavia) but where there is a will there is a way. On day one I tried my first affogato without ice cream, made from real Finnish style coffee. On the second day, because the experience was too good to miss, I went back with my own ice cream and we made it happen.

I then tried the sausages cooked over the fire and the experience is so unique and vistas so incredible, it did not matter that the affogato was way below par. 1.5 beans.
