As close to Italy as you can get in Australia! I felt like the only person in the cafe who was not talking Italian and the atmosphere was just like what would be expected in the heart of Italy. 

The first beverage on the menu was affogato followed by affogato doppiato. No need to look any further down the menu for an affoholic.

I had high expectations and in the Italian style the affogato was presented in a very simple manner. The taste was excellent with a great tasting coffee to offset any deficiencies in the taste and texture of the simple vanilla ice cream. 

I rated it 3.9 out of 5. A great Italian, cafe style affogato in downtown Freo.
