Returning to Il Locale I had great expectations as the last time I dined there, was a good experience. On this occasion the food was good but the service had slipped. I am not sure if we were just served by an inexperienced waiter but he made errors on all meals ordered, including the affogato. I order it virgin.... without frangelico, however on the first round it was prepared with the liquor.

Luckily, it arrived as ordered and the combined affo outcome met the high expectations that I held for Il Locale. I rated it 3.8 out of 5.
