The meal portions were very small. At the end of the meal I asked if they could do an affo for dessert. They said yes and the others in the party ordered normal desserts. After they had consumed their dessert I enquired with the waitress what was happening with the affogato. She said it would arrive soon. When it arrived I asked what was the ice cream, she said it was mint choc chip. I said could I have it with vanilla? She said no as they had none and the reason it had taken so long was that the first version came out with lemon sorbet! I said maybe they could actually not do an affo as they need vanilla ice cream or at least vanilla choc chip. She said to try it and if it was no good they would take if off the bill.

While interesting to taste, there is a reason the affogato was not designed with mint choc chip ice cream. Lucky they did not bring the lemon sorbet version! Scored 0.7 out of 5.
